We had a very long and lazy breakfast, literally on top of the world, in the lounge of one of Hong Kong’s best hotels, with a 180-degree panoramic view of Kowloon next to us.
The food wasn’t bad either, although I tried to be very good and stick to fresh fruits and yoghurt with honey and nuts — which is my usual breakfast when I am traveling.
As breakfast was so long, lunch was just a short while after, and we had planned a big lunch with friends at Hong Kong’s best Chinese restaurant.
So we took a walk around to see what was new at Lane Crawford’s home section and then a quick peek at the supermarket.
And then it was on to lunch, and a very nice catch-up with friends I haven’t seen in a long time.
What fun we had, and we ordered all the dim sum we wanted, and ended the meal with the requisite Chinese fried rice and noodles.
In the evening, which again wasn’t very long after lunch, it was on to dinner in Soho with a very nice couple.
They chose the restaurant and it was one I’d never been to, and all in all it was a very merry evening of good food and even better company.

It was close to midnight when dinner ended, but we decided to head to the lounge of the hotel for a nightcap, as it really is the best place to have a drink in the entire Hong Kong.
The morning view from the lounge |
The lounge is on the 45th floor and it has a wraparound terrace with that amazing view.
We took glasses of champagne outside and marvelled at the scenery all around us, in Hong Kong tonight, living a never-ending #Travelife.
