Last night, we had a very nice joint birthday party at the beautiful home of my friend Mr. Jaded in Forbes Park.
About 250 people came and went throughout the night, and apparently his entire street was blocked with cars of guests.

I knew a lot of people came early as well, because my car actually had to fall in line just to get into his driveway when I arrived.
Yes, I had to fall in line to get into my own party.
But what a wonderful party it was, spanning so many different generations and people.
Personally, so many friends from different lifetimes dropped by or stayed all night, making me me feel very happy and lucky to have such friends.
Thank you to everyone. You know you who are.
There was dancing all night, with great music provided by DJ Wilkes and his team.
They were able to somehow merge the different generations, so that everyone was happy with the music, regardless of age.
That’s not easy to do, but DJ Wilkes and his team certainly pulled it off.
Thank you, too, to Ralph Joseph, for sending over an entire bar set-up so that we had all kinds of vodka the whole night.
These were really delicious.
We also set up a Beer Below Zero station in one corner, that dished out one cold beer after another all night as well.
The Beer Below Zero freezers had to be installed 24 hours before the party, by the way, to make sure that the beers were at optimal temperature by party time.
Fly Ace, the large wine importers, also sent us a couple of cases of wines. So we were certainly not lacking in the drinks department.
Madame Fortune Ledesma wins one of the gift certificates from Zen Institute |
Lots of friends donated raffle prizes as well, so we had a fun raffle all night.
Dr. MJ Valdecanos of Zen Institute donated five gift certificates worth PhP 10,000 each, so we had 5 lucky guests that evening.
The Primer Group, which is the company behind the Travel Club stores, also gave us so many nice products to give away at the party.
Finally, Cheese Steaks sent a cooking truck that parked right outside the food venue, ensuring that guests had freshly made cheese steaks all night.
The Agave restaurant also sent us tacos and other Mexican goodies good enough for hundreds of people.
The Travelife team having fun at the end of a successful and enjoyable night |
Thank you to everyone.
So all in all, it was really one of the nicest evenings in my never-ending, and never-endingly eventful Travelife.
